The box shots speak for themselves. Autodesk's Media & Entertainment products will be big news at The Austin Game Conference this year. For the 3D Users' Group meeting, we've scheduled the Maya 8 and Max 9 Launch Party to coincide with the beginning of the AGC festivities. The meeting will take place at The Iron Cactus, on Wednesday September 6 at 6:30 pm. No conference pass is required to attend this year's special Users' Group, but if you can attend AGC there will be special classes on the new software. (see #3)

2) Jamie has accepted a position at The Animation Farm.
To all of my friends in the 3D community, my clients, vendors, and especially to my employers, Bill and Barbara Bottorff, and our printer guru Chris Baugh, thanks so much for this experience! I have learned more than I could have imagined, and have met many incredibly interesting people. My last day at Austin Business Computers will be Friday August 18. If you anticipate any issues or needs, please let me know and I'll work to ensure that you're taken care of. Please feel free to contact Bill or Chris after my departure if you need anything. Drop me a line before I go!
I will be taking on a new role at The Animation Farm, and though I am very sad to leave, I am also excited about the future possibilities. I hope to see you around . . in 3D . . It's been great!
