This car runs and drives like new. It is in exceptional condition. It had been in warehouse storage for the past 12 years, until the engine was completely rebuilt last year. It has less than 2000 miles since, mostly testing and transport miles. I had forgotten what it feels like to drive one of these cars, it literally floats on the freeway at 80 mph. There is not a car around today with this kind of magic carpet ride. It is solid in turns and hard corners and clips around town like a car a fraction of its size. The power steering is light to the touch as are the brakes. It never feels big until you try to park in one of the new parking spots made for a 4 wheeled motorcycle or kids wagon or whatever fits in one of these spots.
Driving from Dallas to Austin on the Interstate at full tilt it got 16 mpg. This one of the finest driving, twenty seven year old cars you will find anywhere. Absolutely no rust anywhere. It has always been stored or parked inside. It is like a time warp to drive. It is hard to remember why we changed away from cars like this. Oh yea! I remember, we couldn't get gas any more. Not a problem today! with the cheapest gas prices in a decade. This car is ready to go and can be driven anywhere. We just fixed the last nagging problem of starving out for gas at high speed, my friend Bill Read at Read's Custom Automotive brought his racing experience to bear and found a cracked gasline between the tank and the fuel pump. New gas line and now it will go faster than you want, or at least as fast as you want.
